Danny had photography flowing through his veins before he even realized it. His grandfather and uncle are both accomplished photographers, and his grandparents on his mother's side worked in a photo lab.
Danny began taking photography seriously in 1999. He took a photo journalism class his senior year of high school, and instantly fell in love with photography. He took the time to learn and refine his skills, and became quite comfortable with a camera and in the darkroom. In 2001 he began experimenting with digital photography and in 2005 adopted a completely digital workflow. Today he uses Canon digital-slrs, Calumet strobes, Manfrotto tripods and heads, Adobe CS3, Huey Pro calibration, and Epson printers.
Danny loves the idea that the photos he takes capture a moment, a feeling, or an idea.
